Drawing inspiration from ‘70s West Coast synthesis, West Fold offers a modern take on the rich, harmonic unpredictability of the complex oscillator. The entire expansion is built around Falcon’s new West Folder engine, leveraging its wavefolder, built-in AM and FM modulation, and lowpass gate. This approach yields a distinct tonal landscape, capturing the raw, woody resonance and plucky dynamics that define this beloved synthesis approach.
The collection covers every foundational sound type, from deep basses and responsive keys, to sharp plucks and evolving textures. Every patch includes a built-in sequence that can be instantly activated or bypassed, while custom macro controls allow you to tweak the fold depth, modulation, or gate behavior on the fly, keeping the performance intuitive, and highly musical.

Both play every Falcon Expansion, and the difference is what happens after you press a key. In the free UVI Player you browse, load and play each Expansion as its makers designed it, so you can discover Falcon’s sound through its Expansions before you ever open Falcon itself. In Falcon the same Expansion opens all the way, every oscillator, modulator, effect and script within reach, and each preset becomes a starting point for your own sound design.
