In the main page most of the musical action can be done in realtime thanks to the sixteen pads that drive five different modes (Pad, Pitch, Velocity, Erase and Mute/Solo) to play with the sounds in various way. The repeat feature with multiple resolution is one of the keys to make very fast beats.
5 PAD MODES:
◆ Pad : each pad plays its own sound.
◆ Pitch : pads play the same sound at different notes (change the octave by sliding on the pads).
◆ Velocity : pads play the same sound at different levels.
◆ Erase : in record mode, it erases what the pad is playing when you press it. When the sequencer is not running it erases every notes from the selected pad.
◆ Mute/Solo : simple click mutes the pad / double click soloes the pad.
OTHER FEATURES FOR AN IMPROVED REALTIME EXPERIENCE:
◆ Previous / Next : these buttons allows to listen to sounds in realtime without checking the sound browser in the edit view. It will load the previous or the next sound in the selected folder (for example snare drums, claps etc...)
◆ Repeat : when you press Repeat AND a pad, the sound will be played and/or recorded repeatedly to the given resolution.
◆ Resolution : you can change the resolution as much as you want while recording. This setting will affect the automatic quantize as well as the value for the repeat feature.
◆ Undo / Commit : press "commit" every time you like what you've played and want to "save" it. Press "undo" to cancel everything done since the last "commit" or the last record, whichever came last. Please note there are several levels of "undo" and that you can, for instance, undo to two or three "commits" backwards.

◆ Samples are short bits of "actual sound" (appear in blue in the browser)
◆ ElectroBeats provides an analog drum synthesizer with noise generator and waveform oscillator. Synthesis sounds are computed in real time and can be tweaked using a large amount of parameters (appear in black in the browser).
ElectroBeats comes with dozens of ready to use drum kits.
◆ Drum kits: 12 pads are dedicated to drums and 4 to instruments (not chords)
◆ Construction kits: 8 pads are dedicated to drums and 8 pads to chords and sounds.
For inspiration purposes, the featured patterns are to be used with the drum kits. Using these patterns with construction kits might give peculiar results. As for the songs and kits, you can load a pattern while the sequencer is running.
